Adult Learn to Race

Ages: 15+

Cost: 

• Non-Member: $600 (+tax)
• Sailing Center Member: $300 (+tax)
• Yacht Club Member: $225 (+tax)

Boats: Ideal 18s

Objective: The class is designed for students with sailing experience that are interested in learning how to race. By the end of the class, students will understand how to compete in a race, and why sailors love racing!

Topics: *This is not a Learn to Sail class.* Topics covered may include basic fleet racing rules, different racing courses, basic tactics for winning races, boat handling, and possibly some fine tuning.

Modality: The class should be about half in the classroom, and half on the water. Class structure can range from two back-to-back full days, to four evening sessions split between two weeks.
