Optimist- Introduction to Green Fleet Race Camp

Ages: 8-13

Cost: $200 (plus tax)

The Opti Learn to Race Boot Camp is geared towards the sailor interested in joining the year round SPYC Junior Racing Team.   In addition to learning more advanced sailing techniques, students will learn about the Racing Rules of Sailing, sail trim, proper rig set up, signal flags and wind and weather patterns.  Interested Students must have successfully completed either the Opti Learn to Race Class or the Opti Intermediate Class or be approved by the SPYC Camp Director.
