Little Skippers 2

Ages: 5-7

Cost: $420 (plus tax)

Boats: Optimists/Prams

Topics: Increasing confidence regarding rigging, steering, sailing, and docking boats, and of course, having fun!

Students in this age group will sail one or two per Opti with a coach nearby in a powerboat. Sailors will learn to navigate around a course with instruction and assistance from coaches. 

Objective: This class builds upon previously learned sailing skills. The second level to Little Skippers, this class is available to sailors that have taken Little Skippers 1 this current summer, and have been approved by an instructor. Each child will have the opportunity sail alone in this class, while in Little Skippers 1 the sailors have a buddy. This class aims to increase sailors' confidence on the water, all while having fun and making memories.
