Opti 2

Ages: 8-13

Cost: $420 (plus tax)

Topics: Increasing confidence regarding rigging, steering, sailing, and docking boats, and of course, having fun!

Students in this age group will sail one or two per Opti with a coach nearby in a powerboat. Sailors will learn to navigate around a course with instruction and assistance from coaches. 

Objective: This class builds uponsailing skills learned previously in Opti 1. Each child will have the opportunity sail alone in this class, learning about advanced maneuvers and skills required in basic racing. This class aims to increase sailors' confidence on the water, all while having fun and making memories.
